Nelly Ackerson, of Rye Brook was arrested Friday, June 21 minutes after midnight following a motor vehicle stop, said police.
She reportedly driving east in a 2019 Jeep Compass on West Putnam Avenue without the headlights on so police stopped her, according to the report.
That is when officers allegedly saw she had red, glassy eyes, and smelled like alcohol when she spoke, Greenwich Police said.
Police reportedly conducted standardized field sobriety tests then arrested Ackerson, they said.
She was charged with failure to display lights and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and is due in Stamford court Monday, July 8.
